Know a U.S. business that could use Marketing RX? Recommend our services and ask them to contact us directly through our consultation form. Use the referral form to let us know who you referred and that they plan to reach out. We do not contact businesses on your behalf. If they become a qualifying client, you earn 5% of their contracted monthly marketing fee for each qualifying active month, after their invoice is paid in full and clears.
- Recommend Marketing RX to the business, disclose that you may receive a referral payment, and ask them to contact us directly.
- Let us know about your referral using this form. When the business contacts us, they must confirm who referred them. Referral credit is confirmed in writing before they sign.
- Earn 5% of the monthly marketing fee for each qualifying month, paid within 15 business days after the invoice is paid in full and clears.
Referral Program Terms & Conditions
By submitting a referral and accepting these terms, you agree to the following conditions.
1. Program Overview
Refer an eligible business to me for marketing services and earn 5% of its monthly marketing contract for each month it remains an active, paying client.
Your only responsibility is making the introduction. I handle the consultation, proposal, contract, client relationship, and marketing work.
This is a referral opportunity, not employment. You are not authorized to represent my business, negotiate prices, make commitments, or sign agreements on my behalf.
2. Participant Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be a resident of the United States of America.
- Provide accurate contact and payment information.
- Disclose your relationship to the business you refer.
Every referred business must be based in the United States of America.
3. Referring Your Workplace
You may refer a business you work for if you are an employee who is not an owner, co-owner, CEO, president, or other company executive.
You cannot refer a business you own, co-own, or lead as an executive. Referral payments cannot be used as a discount, rebate, credit, or reduction of your own company’s marketing fees.
Using another person to submit a referral on your behalf does not make an otherwise ineligible referral eligible.
Employees must follow their employer’s policies concerning referral payments, outside income, and conflicts of interest.
If you become an owner, co-owner, CEO, president, or other executive of the referred company, you must notify me. Your eligibility for future referral payments for that company ends when your role changes.
4. Eligible Businesses
Only new prospective clients qualify.
Businesses that are already clients or are already in discussions with me about a marketing contract when the referral is submitted are not eligible.
Submitting a referral does not guarantee that the business will be accepted as a client.
5. Submitting a Referral
Notify Us of Your Referral through the referral form or make an email introduction. No affiliate code or personal referral link is required.
Include your name, email address, the business name, and the prospective client’s contact information. Obtain permission before sharing someone’s nonpublic contact details.
The referral must be documented and confirmed before the business signs its marketing contract. Submitting a business name alone does not establish referral credit.
6. Referral Credit and Multiple Referrers
Only one referrer may receive credit for each referred business.
The client must confirm who referred them before referral credit is approved. If multiple people claim the same referral, only the person confirmed by the client will receive credit.
The 5% referral payment cannot be split between two or more people. Joint referrals and shared referral payouts are not accepted.
Referral credit will be confirmed in writing.
7. Referral Expiration
Confirmed referral credit does not expire solely because time passes between the introduction and the business becoming a client.
A confirmed referral may qualify even if the business signs a contract a year or more after the introduction, provided the eligibility requirements continue to be met.
8. When a Payment Is Earned
A referral qualifies for payment when:
- The participant and referred business meet these terms.
- The client has confirmed the referrer and referral credit has been approved.
- The business signs a monthly marketing contract.
- The business pays its applicable monthly invoice in full, and the payment clears.
An inquiry, consultation, proposal, or unsigned contract does not earn a referral payment.
Partial client payments do not trigger a referral payout. The applicable monthly invoice must be paid in full first.
9. Payment Amount
Your referral payment is 5% of the client’s contracted monthly marketing fee.
For example, a $3,000 monthly marketing contract earns you $150 for each qualifying paid month. If the client stays and pays for 12 months at that amount, you earn $1,800.
If the monthly contract amount changes, your referral payment changes accordingly.
Unless separately agreed in writing, taxes, advertising spend, third-party charges, reimbursements, and separate one-time projects are excluded from the calculation.
10. Payment Timing and Currency
Referral payments are issued within 15 business days after the client’s applicable monthly invoice is paid in full and the payment clears, provided your required payment information and documentation are complete.
Business days exclude weekends and U.S. federal holidays.
All payouts are made in U.S. dollars (USD). The payment method will be communicated to you before your first payout.
No referral payment is earned on an unpaid, canceled, refunded, or reversed client payment.
If a client payment is refunded or reversed after a referral payout has been issued, the corresponding payout may be recovered or deducted from future payments. An explanation will be provided.
11. Continuing and Returning Clients
Payments continue for each qualifying paid month that the referred business remains an active client and you remain eligible.
If the client ends its contract or pauses services, referral payments stop for the affected months.
If the client later returns, payments resume under the original confirmed referral, provided you remain eligible and your participation has not been terminated.
The payout is calculated using the client’s current monthly marketing contract.
No minimum contract length, number of payments, or total earnings is guaranteed.
12. Referral Conduct
You must describe the program and marketing services accurately. Do not promise guaranteed results, guaranteed earnings, or unapproved prices or terms.
When recommending my services, clearly disclose that you may receive a referral payment if the business becomes a paying client.
You must not:
- Submit false or misleading information.
- Impersonate another person.
- Claim credit for an introduction you did not make.
- Submit an ineligible self-referral through another person.
- Send unsolicited bulk messages or use deceptive promotional practices.
- Make commitments on my behalf.
13. Violations and Termination
Violation of these terms may result in termination of your participation following written notice identifying the violation.
If your participation is terminated for a violation, future referral payments end for all businesses credited to you, including otherwise valid referrals. Payments will not resume if those clients later return.
Valid payments earned before termination remain payable. Payments associated with fraudulent or ineligible referrals are not owed.
14. Taxes and Payment Information
Referral payments are taxable income. You are responsible for reporting this income and paying any applicable federal, state, and local taxes, even if you do not receive a tax reporting form.
Before your first payout, you must provide a completed IRS Form W-9 and accurate payment information through the secure method we provide. Do not submit your Social Security number or other tax identification information through the referral form.
Marketing RX will issue Form 1099-NEC or other tax reporting forms when legally required. Taxes generally will not be withheld from referral payments unless withholding is required by law.
Missing or inaccurate documentation may delay payment until corrected.
15. Program Changes
Updated terms will be posted on this page and apply to future referrals.
Closing the program to new referrals will not, by itself, end the agreed 5% arrangement for previously confirmed referrals. Those payments continue while the client remains active and paying, and the participant remains eligible and complies with these terms.
Changes affecting previously confirmed referrals require the participant’s agreement.
